(Learning identity)

Welcome once again internet explorers in this article im going to talk about IDENTITY an how can be used as powerful ancient tool to overcome lifes obstacles looking inside you first.

What makes you? What makes human?

The most common answer is 1) "i am who i think i am" or 2) "i am the things i have done", both statements are correct but incorrect due to the human nature: 1) You ARE if you can recall the past and present: You will be confident of your identity if the present brings evidence to it 2) You believe the things have past to you built your identity: You will be confident as along there is good thoughts and you always have met success.

Both of those statements in the long run are limited by Judging and Percepcion what you need to know actually is that you are not the pieces you are the WHOLE system, im going to summarize my thoughts on James Clear Atomic Habits in his graphic of the "Three shelds of conduct change" but adding an extra layer that we will call Enviroment, in this part we are just going talk about identity synthesis.

Identity Nature vs Nurture

NATURE:

1//How to build future: My core desire vs Visualizing my future self

Examples using enneagram the system of core values

My core desires:

1) The reformer: You are born with natural need of correct the world, you identity see flaws everywhere and you duty is make the world a better place, if you cannot correct them you are allowing the worst path.

2) The caregiver: You are born with the natural need of relieve others needs,  you identity see what is people lacking and you need is to give them, if you dont help people... people wont care about you.

3) The archiever: You are born with natural need of break expectations, your identity see that there is much wasted potential and you will be the one to break the mold, the world is a boring place it needs change.

9) The perceiver: You are born with natural ability of listening; your identity lives in every time dimension you are aware of every point of view and you are able to listen to it, you know the world needs works but you know the best way is throught compassion.

You will identify with one number for now the best fit for you, taking bit of history Enneagram was first used in VI Century by Christian Evagrio as a way to clasiffy peoples desires and fears in his religion nowdays its just used by people as tool to explore their identity in the most primordial way. Even though is not perfect  it can be used as first ground to identify your desires and fears by any means this is not a death end is just a theory only made by observation but has value nonetheless.

Myers Briggs theory/Big five:

The famous Myers Briggs indicator is a theory system that is based on "Psychological types" (1916) by Carl Jung, it was refined and summarize by Katherine Briggs and Isabel Briggs (1944-1962) as a way to categorize people to choose the best work for them.

MBTI talks about your brain preference to Perceive and Judge the world, in contrast Enneagram is how purpose build our behavior... MBTI points out the limitations and possibilities of our brain.

In short there is 4 letters that make your personality:

Extravert/Introvert: Are you a person that prefers to spend time exploring outer reality? (E) or, Are you a person that prefers to be exploring your own mind? (I)

Sensing/iNtuitive: Are you a person that prefers to spend your time on real life activities? (S) or, Are you a person that prefers building abstract ideas about the world? (N)

Feeling/Thinker: Are you a person that is aware of its feelings and others, and how it will impact on others moods to create the best wellness scenario(F) or Are you a person that is aware in how systems works to the overall benefit, you are able to rationalize the best result in fairness? (T)

Perceiving/Judging: Are you a person that you are a person who is flexible and seeks value in exploring the world? (P) or Are you are a person who looks to the outside world for clues that can help you to complete your vision? (J)

EXTRA BIG FIVE MODEL NEUROTISM : ASSERTIVE OR TURBULENT

In MBTI theory there is no extra letter but you can find that some test and the famous web 16Personality add this. I am going to include it because although it is not real MBTI in fact it is part of the BIGFIVE model, it rescues an important part when reacting to what happens to us.

Turbulent/Assertive: Are a person that gets really stressed and neurotic if the things dont go the way you expected? (T) or, Are a person that gets focused and detached if things dont go the way you expected? (A)

When your finally figure out all letters you just need the unite them and there you go.

EXAMPLE

My personality trait is: E N T J

NURTURE:

Personal BARRIERS:

Every person has a path written on history in which we are everyday swimming against the the barries of time and space we are afraid of what already happened to us and what the future will bring to us we afraid of the person who betray ud, we are afraid being afraid of uncertaintly, most important we do everything to avoid fear. At the end we can just define those feelings as messangers that at the end are trying to protect you from getting

We have two great tools to break the mental barries that are Intuition and Rational thinking:

Intuition: Intuition is the lenguage of the subconsious, the way it works is that our brains are always trying to make sense of our surrondings by sensorial perception getting the underlying message that happened because of this! Its functions is to extend and enrich our common perception based on the details we have experienced as a Sage in which we can recur in perpetuity. So intuition is the feedback flow that is always looking for patterns to guide your future.

Relief: The Sage has gathered information from your path to bring a better existence experience, so dont be worry about how it was your past since the past now its wisdom to the master to mold the future.

Crititical Thinking:  Critical Thinking is the deconstruction of reality, the way it works is for us to identify the truth based on a matematical model of minimun components, it charges how and why when ideas are working to define the correlation and functionality of arguments. It aids intuition and feelings to capture the big picture. The critical thinking is your Master that knows that information and possibilities are out there to be experimented and organized in the most efficent manner if we zoom enough the basic components of reality.

Relief: The Master has learnt that everything has happened for a reason in a large system, its critical for what has happened to you but it brings a light on the possibility of becoming wiser and more capable to deal with problems.

Visualizing my future self:

All the books of  "law of Attraction" used as commonly type in the market as positive thinking until fantasy bubble explotes, so why it this even important? Because as i have told you every piece is important for success, the future is first determined by your core identity then every action comes after, your core identity is the irrational fire that is always looking to fill its purpose:

So what is the point? The point is there is action as long there is fuel, there is buildings as long there plans. Visualizing your self is basically feeling something as if  you have it right now, why? because you have to feel in love with your dreams, everytime you are projecting your future self into the present you now have the need to take action and act upon the feeling: EXAMPLES

E: I see a dark street while walking, my brain now is showing every scenario where i get stabbed/robbed/ or take action to attack. Im living the future in my present now i wont take the chance to past there, i mold my future on visualizing.

E2: Im wacthing youtube videos of guitarrist then i found one that makes me really happy, in that time i can sense the ecstasys of the public/ the raw emotion of the musicians/ their self expressions as art. Once its all done i cannot stop of thinking about making present more like "visualization" this results in me after few months buying a new guitar.

All comes from the wish to change something, anxiety is the way of our body to communicate a change of state the action you do next is the release of potential energy. Every emotion that you let into your door will become your savior or doomer.

Difference success person vs average person

There is no much difference between two of them, the success person is made on the believe that they are important and they deserve to be success, the average person doesnt believe they deserve great things so they wont move a finger to defend their ego. Most success people will find justification on religion, philosophy or status to based their behaviors as something trascendental others will immortalize their life throught creation and giving the possibility to give a better future. The average person only lives for himself no more, they dont care what will happen to them as long there is confort.
